Nate Stokes serves as a Consulting Actuary with Axene Health Partners. He has worked as a healthcare actuary for over 15 years spanning many responsibilities centered around data analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, risk management, and pharma contracting.

Prior to joining AHP, Nate provided analytical support at CVS Caremark for client performance guarantees, trend analysis & forecasting, multi-factor regression analyses, risk management studies, and numerous other ad-hoc requests. He was often involved with model creation, management, and enhancement bringing new tools to key stakeholders and breathing new life into older models.

Nate also served at Cigna where he led a team providing critical client MAC pricing management, performance guarantee analysis, point-of-sale rebate pricing, and supported client pricing logic terms & coding. He worked closely with many stakeholders building new platforms, expanding the capabilities and efficiencies of pharmacy pricing & contracting. In addition, he and his team supported the Express Scripts acquisition spanning discovery research, logic & methodology comparison, knowledge & insight sharing, and related efforts.

His early career years spanned roles covering medical economics, medical pricing, and stop-loss pricing where he gained experience with provider contract terms & analysis, competitive analysis, model development, benefit plan design, and pricing concepts. Nate was also involved in the acquisition efforts of Great-West Healthcare by Cigna providing instrumental support in merging the client pricing methodology rating engines.

He has built a strong foundation in data analytics, problem solving, coding, and serving others in an actuarial capacity throughout his career. Nate enjoys new challenges and looks forward to helping find & build solutions for stakeholders.

Nate is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Colorado State University. He and his wife reside in Fort Collins, CO with their three children where they are growing their family roots and serving their community.
