Anil Kochhar serves as a Consulting Actuary with Axene Health Partners. He has over 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry working for insurance brokers, national insurance carriers, and physician provider groups. His client work focuses on several key areas:

• Flex Pricing
• Trend Analysis

Additionally, Anil has extensive experience with premium rate development for healthcare products including ancillary coverages such as Dental and Vision. He has also provided public sector health and benefits actuarial support and worked closely in vendor and labor rate negotiations.

Anil has held various positions in his career, including Chief Actuary at Dickerson/Alera, where he developed reserves policies for a series of Public sector clients, provided extensive actuarial analysis and rate negotiations for Alera agency clients across the country, and supported account leads with analytics for their years in stewardship reports.

Notably, he was also a Vice President and Consulting Actuary at Aon Consulting, where he saved the City and County of San Francisco over $200 MM over five years and provided extensive actuarial analysis and rate negotiations for various clients, including the California Schools Employee Benefits Association (CSEBA), City of San Jose, State of Mexico Public Schools, City of Portland, Sybase, 24 Hour Fitness, and Driscoll Berries.

Anil holds a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Actuarial Science from Georgia State University. He is a member of the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries.

When he is not working, Anil enjoys swimming and spending time with his family. He has three kids and three grandkids, and his wife is the love of his life. He is also proud to hold a Medicare card.
