Rob Nordstrom is an actuary for Axene Health Partners and lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Prior to joining Axene Health Partners, Rob worked as an actuary for a global consulting firm where he gained experience with financial models and data analytics. He also worked for a health cost sharing ministry where he served as a trusted actuarial resource, leading the claims reserving and forecasting as well as managing key actuarial projects for the organization including risk-based capital ratios, surplus-at-risk analysis, and pandemic modeling.

Rob has served as a lead and supporting actuary in individual market ACA rate filings. He is also heavily involved in employee health benefit consulting work coming alongside employee benefit consultants and third-party administrators to better serve their clients.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from the University of Minnesota. Rob is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries

When Rob isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family, working on home renovations, and playing his great-grandfather’s fiddle.
