PRINCIPAL & CONSULTING ACTUARY

Chad Conti, FSA, MAAA

Chad Conti joined the Pittsburgh office of Axene Health Partners, LLC in 2019 as one of the firm’s consulting actuaries. He brings a wealth of experience in design and support of value-based provider reimbursement models, including ACOs and bundled payment strategies.  He also has a deep background in designing high performing networks and providing data-driven solutions to payer and provider systems.  Support for these programs includes financial modeling, measurement and reporting of performance, and working to implement these programs with provider stakeholders, including clinical leaders and hospital CFOs.

Prior to joining AHP, Chad led a team at Highmark Health in the Enterprise Actuarial department. Additionally, Chad designed episode analytics and built specialist efficiency profiling reports.  He regularly collaborated with physicians to identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes and insights to lower condition-specific costs.

Chad has also held actuarial consulting positions with Buck Consultants and Towers Watson. In those roles, he was responsible for benefit calculations and providing consultative services to retirees and plan sponsors.

Chad earned a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Robert Morris University in Moon Township, PA. He is Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (2014) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (2011). He lives in the Pittsburgh area with his wife and son.
