Recently AHP consulting actuaries Joan Barrett, Tony Pistilli, Nathan Stokes, and Gregory Warren, teamed up to look into the total cost of care across medical & pharmacy. The focus was on two key drug classes where newer more expensive therapies promise better outcomes relative to older less expensive traditional treatments.
